My stay in France was a short one. Dave, Benny, Alwin, George, Sarah, Katie, Ann, Stephanie and I, went to Nice, France, and Monte Carlo, Monaco for the weekend. Alwin has a posh three bedroom apartment in Monte Carlo and received a hair cut at his favorite barber in Monaco so we decided to tag along…how funny is that?! Our original plan was to stay in Nice for the night, but due to the lack of planning we couldn’t find a place to stay. I chilled on the beach looking at the Mediterranean while the rest of the crew ate at McDonalds in France - wack, huh? The streets where packed due to some cycling event, but we still enjoyed our short day trip to France. We then headed to Monaco to spend a night at Alwin’s.

Monaco, perhaps the smallest, yet richest country in the world, is constantly under surveillance with over 30,000 hidden cameras for crime prevention and God knows what. At sunset, we touched down in the heart of the city at the grand casino - we were blown away by the amount of money floating around. Multi-million dollar yachts lined the docks, countless Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Bentley's, and classic Mercedes lined the outside of the grand casino accompanied by the most expensive production car in the world, the Bugatti EB110 (W12 quad turbo @ 3.5 million large with over 1,000hp).  I was feeling sick by the end of the night seeing all that money just marinating.  After our casino venture we ate dinner at some celebrity café and strolled the city gazing endlessly.
